FAQs

What Locations do you cover?

I cover Herefordshire, Abergavenny and surrounding areas.

Do I need to tidy or prepare before the session?

No need to tidy. Seeing your space as it is helps me to understand how it is currently used and where the challenges are. This allows us to create a realistic and supportive plan that fits your needs.

Do I have to throw everything away?

Absolutely not. This process is not about getting rid of things for the sake of it. It's about keeping what supports your life now. I'll never pressure you to part with anything. My role is to guide you in making confident, mindful decisions.

Do you do cleaning?

I do not offer a cleaning service, but I will help with light cleaning such as wiping down shelves or surfaces as we return items to their places.

Do I need to buy storage before?

No, wherever possible we will use what you already have or repurpose items. If additional storage is needed, I can help you choose suitable options after assessing your space.

Will you take away unwanted or donation items?

I do not hold a waste carrier licence therefore you are responsible for removing items from your home for disposal, recycling, or donation. I will happily advise on local services available.

In some cases where it is practical to do so due to the rural nature of where we live, I may offer to take one car load of donations per session to a local charity shop. I would accept no liability once items have been removed.

I feel embarrassed about my home?

Please do not worry. This is a judgement-free service. My goal is to help you feel calm, capable and in control again by moving forward together.

How do I know this will work for me?

I offer a FREE Discovery call and an affordable Introductory session so you can try it out, ask questions and get a feel for how the process works before committing to anything bigger.

What if I feel overwhelmed or emotional during the session?

It is completely normal to feel this way. We will work at your pace, and I'll always check in with how you are feeling. You are not alone in this.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, after the Initial Consultation, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session, to be paid at least 48 hours beforehand. This will be applied to your final invoice. The remaining balance and any additional charges are due within 7 days following the session.

Do you charge for travel and parking fees?

A travel fee of £0.45 per mile applies to journeys exceeding 20 miles from the general HR2 area (Herefordshire). Exact milage and fees will be calculated based on your booking address and confirmed in advance.

Any parking fees incurred during the session will be added to your final invoice.

What is your cancellation policy?

I understand that plans can change. I kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • More than 48 hours - Full refund or deposit transferred to a future date
  • Less than 48 hours - 50% cancellation fee
  • Same day cancellation - Full session fee is charged

If you're unwell or have an emergency, please let me know. I'll always do my best to be flexible and understanding.

If you choose to end a session partway through, I reserve the right to charge for the full session.
