TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By booking a session, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These are in place to ensure a safe, respectful, professional experience for both of us.
Disclaimer
All decisions made during our sessions are entirely your own. I provide guidance, support, and advice, but the final decision to keep, discard, or relocate items is always yours. I accept no responsibility or liability for any actions or outcomes resulting from our work together.
Insurance
I hold public liability, professional indemnity and personal accident insurance via Westminster Insurance. Every care is taken with your possessions; however, I cannot accept liability for any accident, direct, or consequential loss or damage. It is your responsibility to ensure your belongings are covered by appropriate home or contents insurance.
Privacy & Confidentiality
I provide a confidential and discrete service. Your information will never be shared without your consent, except where required by the law (e.g., Risk of harm, criminal activity or safeguarding concerns).
- Your personal data is stored securely and only used for providing agreed services.
- Testimonials may be requested and will only be shared with your consent.
- Photos taken with your consent to track progress will only ever be used for marketing purposes following your written permission.
- A trusted person will have private access to my appointment schedule for personal safety reasons as a lone worker.
- I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and adhere to the General Data Protection Regulations UK (GPDR UK).

Health & Safety
Please ensure your home is safe to work in. Please inform me in advance of any hazards such as pets, trip hazards, health issues, or unstable furniture.
- I do not move large or heavy furniture. If this is needed, please arrange help in advance.
- I can assist with light cleaning such as wiping shelves or surfaces.
- Please ensure your home is accessible.
- Where possible it is best for pets and young children to be cared for by someone else so we can focus.
I reserve the right to end a session early or cancel further sessions without a refund in the event of:
- Unsafe or unsanitary conditions
- Abusive or inappropriate behaviour
- Non- payment of fees
Emotional Wellbeing
Decluttering can be an emotional experience. I will work with compassion and patience, but I am not a therapist or mental health professional. If you become overwhelmed, we will pause and slow the pace. You are free to stop the session at any time. However, I reserve the right to charge in full for the scheduled time.
Booking & Deposits
- A 50% non- refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This must be paid at least 48 hours before the session starts.
- The remaining balance is due 7 days following the session.
- Payment methods accepted: Bank transfer, cash or Cheque
Session Rates:
- Weekdays: £25/ hr (Minimum 4 hours session)
- Weekends: £30/hr (Minimum 4 hour session)
If 4 hours is too long or too short for your needs, alternative arrangements can be discussed.
Cancellation Policy
- 48+ hours notice: A full refund or deposit transferred to a future date
- Less than 48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee
- Same day cancellation: Full session fee will be charged
If you are unwell or have an emergency, please get in touch. I will aim to be flexible and understanding.
If you choose to end a session partway through, the full session fee will still apply.
Travel & Parking
A travel fee of £0.45 per mile applies to journeys exceeding 20 miles from the general HR2 area (Herefordshire). Exact milage and fees will be calculated based on your booking address and confirmed in advance.
Any parking fees incurred during the session will be added to your final invoice.
Breaks & Refreshments
I do not expect refreshments however they would be gratefully accepted. If a session runs over lunchtime we may agree to stop for a short period, I will bring my own lunch and you will not be charged for this time.
Donations and Item removal
I do not hold a waste carrier licence. Therefore you are responsible for removing items from your home for disposal, recycling, or donation. I will happily provide advice on the most appropriate local services available.
In some cases, I may offer to take one car of donations per session to a local charity shop. However this is largely determined by logistics. You are responsible for identifying items for donations and I accept no liability once items have been removed.
Third Party products & Services
I may recommend storage products, recycling services, or other third party services. While these suggestions are made in good faith, I am not liable for any loss, damage, or issues resulting from third-party services or products.
Any basic supplies such as bin bags and stationery are included in the session fee.
